1991   The company Aerospace Engineering has been found on 18.02.1991. Our company idea and the offer of Aerospace Engineering ASE included trade and services in the airspace branch, cosmonautics, and industry. Our strong sides were: distribution agencies, import and export of aircrafts and their spare parts, marketing, engineering and quality management consulting acc. to the ISO 9001 within a central general organization. The competitive business advantages of the company Aerospace Engineering compared with its competitors were the absolute professionalism and long-time experience of its employees in the airspace branch and in voluminous service offers.

1994   The company Aerospace AG has been found on 22.11.1994. Our company idea and the offer of Aerospace AG included trade and services in the airspace branch, cosmonautics, and industry. Our strong sides were: distribution agencies, import and export of aircrafts and their spare parts, marketing, engineering and quality management consulting acc. to the ISO 9001 within a central general organization. The competitive business advantages of the company Aerospace AG compared with its competitors were the absolute professionalism and long-time experience of its employees in the airspace branch and in voluminous service offers. The self-gripping fastening systems had been already distributed in the trade branches for a long time and fascinated us  totally. This technology and ideal way of fast gripping are applied in many areas and therefore we have widely specialized in this fastening technique.

FASTECH Europe AG

2000 The company name Aerospace AG has been changed in FASTECH Europe AG at the end of November 2000. The reason of that name change is the excellent business relations with our partner Velcro Europe S.A. in Barcelona and the innovative products  of VELCRO®. Besides, the new name serves for better identification by our customers in the self-gripping fastening systems area of VELCRO® with its  innovative self-gripping fastening systems. The Company FASTECH Europe AG is a general Swiss distributor of these innovative  self-gripping fastening systems. FASTECH Europe AG as an enterprise, rich in traditions, succeeds not only in producing of high qualified textile self-gripping fastening systems, but also in increasing and completing this range of goods regularly with new technologies and knowledge. 2006 The company's name FASTECH Europe AG was the end of September 2006 changed in FASTECH AG. The reason for the new name change is the short term, because "in the near future is the spice." The company FASTECH AG is very strongly committed in Switzerland and in Europe for innovative Hook & Loop systems. Our strengths are the production of high quality self-gripping systems and we expand and complement our range continuously with new technology and knowledge. We supply now a very wide range of fastening systems. As a "problem solver" we offer our customers thousands of products with a variety of possible combinations and which are ideally suited as innovative reusable self-gripping systems.

FASTECH GmbH

2009/2010 The company FASTECH GmbH is in the start-up phase and is a 100% owned subsidiary of FASTECH AG. The location of the GmbH in Germany (Rheinfelden) to our customers within the EU is still better, faster and easier to use. Fast customer service and direct supply within the EC is our goal.

Our environment

Self-gripping fastening system consists of two strong nylon or  polyester tapes. A tape with small strong woven hooks (named Hook tape) and other one, covered with innumerable tiny loops (named Loop tape). You press the both tapes together and they already grip on each other firmly with an astonishing power until you simply pull them apart again. And it can be repeated this way. FASTECH fasteners are extremely durable. They grip in all positions and in all directions, it doesn't matter how they are closed.   FASTECH fastening tape can be attached at almost every kind of surface: at fabrics, plastics, iron, stone etc., at the flexible or firm material - it doesn't matter. Everywhere, where you usually use buttons, zip fasteners, glue, buckles or some other bindings, FASTECH fastening tape fits even better with many further applications. FASTECHself-gripping fasteners are applied in many cases world-wide. Between the Earth and the Moon we know more than thousands of different ways of appliance, for the textiles, room decoration, industry, ship navigation and health care. Material und Methods  FASTECH Products are everywhere today ..................   These new and innovative products are widely adopted in the technical  industrial branches, but they are especially useful in medicine. With help of the self-gripping fasteners you can create innumerable simple and reusable bindings and they often endure much more time than the product, to which they are attached. Many useful application opportunities in medicine and in the live-saving service Simple fastening of trimmings, seat upholstery and airplane seats Attaching of exhibition items, upholstery and pictures without any screw-bolts Affixing of partitions or window trimmings to each other in simple bonding  Preventing the carpets from slipping with eases  Binding, fixing, securing or bundling up the electric cables   Decorating the walls with velour and attaching the subjects with hook tape Simple fastening of items without screw-bolts Protecting of transport boxes or transport unites and packing them simply as reusable ones Innumerable application opportunities in automotive (lorry) industry, textiles, schools, kindergartens, in sport, producing sport watches, house work, spare time, fashioning, camping, gardening, as also in home keeping etc. The applications for self-gripping fasteners are almost infinite!!

Production phases: Weaving, quality test, thermo-fixing (exposing to shrinkage), washing, crimping (for Loop), dying, interlaying with polyurethane, cutting up the hooks, rolling out in 100 m pieces. Advantages and properties of NYLON (self-gripping fastener): Woven, 2 sewing edgings, the strength of closing system 3,25 mm, no shrinkage, adjusted in different ways, shock proved, swinging increase the gripping power, can be opened and closed easy (without any tools), antirust, light-weighted, most of oil sorts don't wrong the gripping power, non-conductive (but there are also conductive products by FASTECH), possible usage at - 55° C up to + 160° C, the fasteners don't fade, melting-point at 245° C, usage cycle up to 10'000 openings. End products: Pre-covered, particularly adhesive, die-cut of FAST-COINS® (cut pieces) or other  forms, design in 25 and 50 m rolls as well as producing of straps. Disposable FASTECH products: Hook and Loop tape as a roll à 25 m with the width of 16, 20, 25, 30, 38, 50, 100, 150 mm in 25 colours (standard, adhesive in PS-14, PS-18, PS-30 and PC-28 HF welding). Hook products "Plastics" (PP) Ultra-Mate® (HTH, High Technology Hook) are new, with max. width 320 mm. HTH are Hooks made of PP and polyamide or other materials, see the web-site in "Products". Thousands of products are available in the area Hook or Loop tape.   Perforated (PP) Hook self-gripping fastening systems for high durability also in  connection with profiles. E.g.: aircraft, automotive industry, railway carriage construction. Perforated (PP) foil closing system for completely new applications, e.g.: diapers,  hygiene and packaging industry. Mushroom fasteners as closing systems E.g.: machinery construction, panels, traditional products. Textile mushroom self-gripping fastening systems up to 1'500 mm width. E.g.: abrasive discs and automotive industry.

We specialize as well in: Mounting aids for interlaying during closed work  (e.g. tunnel building), profile in combination with self-gripping fastening systems and closing systems (e.g. in the detergent industry, attaching of cellular phones etc.), we offer custom-built fastening systems. Results The appliance of self-gripping fastening systems during decades is so large in emergency and in medical branches, that one can speak about an "invention of the century".
